We are fortunate to have a private nature reserve right on our doorstep; the mountains behind Scarborough are all part of the Baskloof Private Nature Reserve.

The only items that you need to explore them are boots, water, and a Baskloof permit for R30 per day.

You can also purchase an annual permit for R150, obtainable from the Village Hub.

Treat it as your own, keep to the paths, respect it, and love it. There are not many residential areas that are so blessed.
